My eyes burned as my eyelashes fluttered, sunlight streaming around the edge of the curtain a few feet in front of my face.

Blinking hard, I tried to recall when my bed had gotten so close to the windows overlooking the back parking lot of the bar, but my heart raced when I focused on the wood paneling covering the wall next to this window.

I was in the cabin. At the Rivera’s cabin in Hudson’s bed—naked—while his hand possessively gripped my hip, and his warm breath fanned against my neck.

A filthy slideshow of the things we’d done together last night flashed behind my closed eyelids, and I felt my skin heat as I recalled all the things he’d done to my now weary body. I would blame it on alcohol, but I knew Hudson would never drive his baby after a drop of alcohol, and I hadn’t drunk a thing before he found me on the dance floor.

My neck ached and the skin on my ass felt tender, Hudson’s objective of marking me clearly achieved. Trying not to disturb the sleeping man behind me, I moved my wrists up, studying the deep indentations the zip ties had left behind. Moving carefully, I slowly inched my way down the mattress, careful not to pull the blankets with me as I slipped off the end.
